Accommodation in London Central

St Giles London Central is located in the heart of the city. We have a wide choice of accommodation for students studying with us. You can choose from residences, hotels and host families.

This popular accommodation option is the ideal choice if you want to practise your English outside the classroom and learn about British culture and way of life first hand. Homestay at London Central offers:

Shared rooms can be guaranteed only to students travelling together.

Due to our central London location, homestays are located on average 45-60 minutes from the college by public transport.

London is a big city, and is divided into 6 "Zones". Zone 1 is closest to the centre, and Zone 6 is furthest from the centre. St Giles London Central is in Zone 1

It is very unusual to find homestay accommodation in Zone 1, and therefore the majority of our homestays are in Zones 3-5.
If you are studying at London Central, you can live in Zone 1 if you choose one of our student residence or hotel options.

St Giles London Central Residence

Uniquely in London, St Giles London Central can offer residential accommodation for almost 60 students in its main school building.

Somerset Court Residence

This modern residence in central London is available for St Giles students all year. It is a self-catering residence offering high quality single en-suite rooms in flats of 4, 5 or 6 rooms. Students studying at both London Central and London Highgate can study here. It is approximately 15-20 minutes walk from London Central, and 20-25 minutes travel from London Highgate.

John Dodgson House Summer residence

From July to September we can offer additional single en-suite rooms at this new and well-equipped self-catering residence owned by University College London. Located about ten minutes’ walk from the school, John Dodgson House offers excellent student accommodation in a very convenient location.

  • Bed linen and hand towels provided (students should bring their own bath towels)
  • Kitchen facilities on each floor, shared by 5/10 guests

St Giles London Central has a number of hotels on offer which are located close to our school. You can choose from Economy Hotels (with shared bathroom facilities), Mid-range hotels (all rooms en-suite) and 3 or 4 Star Hotels (all rooms en-suite).
