ENGLISH AND TEACHER TRAINING
COURSES IN BRIGHTON

The vibrant seaside city of Brighton is one of our top UK destinations for learning English. Brighton is the perfect location for those who love the beach but still enjoy city life. In 2015, more than 450,000 overseas visitors spent at least one night in Brighton, and we think we know why – with a welcoming, cosmopolitan atmosphere, great shopping, famous nightlife and a wide range of things to see and do, Brighton is simply a great place to be. Our busy, lively school is located right in the centre, just minutes from the Pavilion, meaning students are well placed to take advantage of all that’s on offer.

St Giles Brighton is a large school, with a maximum capacity of up to 650 students. It offers a wide range of both English courses and teacher training courses, suitable for students aged 16+ (or 21+ for Platinum English). We offer something for everybody, from complete beginners to advanced learners, with courses ranging from General English to exam preparation and English for Special Purposes. The school also has a dedicated Platinum Centre, which provides training for professionals, executives and more mature students.

This is our largest teacher training centre, and we offer a selection of courses for native and non-native speakers who would like to train to teach English. Alongside the Cambridge CELTA, we also offer Modules 1 and 2 of the Cambridge Delta. For non-native speaker teachers, we offer both the St Giles Teachers of English course and the Cambridge TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test). Find out more about these courses below.
