Accommodation options:

This popular accommodation option is the ideal choice if you want to practise your English outside the classroom and learn about British culture and way of life first hand. Homestay at London Central offers:

  • Our lowest price accommodation option
  • Carefully selected and monitored hosts
  • Choice of half board or breakfast only
  • Choice of single or shared rooms (for students travelling together)
  • All bed linen and towels provided
  • Superior homestay option available

Due to our central London location, homestays are located on average 45-60 minutes from the centre by public transport.

London is a big city, and is divided into 6 "Zones". Zone 1 is closest to the centre, and Zone 6 is furthest from the centre. St Giles London Central is in Zone 1. It is very unusual to find homestay accommodation in Zone 1, and therefore the majority of our homestays are in Zones 3-5. If you are studying English at London Central, you can live in Zone 1 if you choose one of our student residence or hotel options.

Superior homestays offer large, well-furnished bedrooms with internet access, as well as the option to book a private bathroom.

During busy periods, we occasionally use homestays that are carefully selected by the agency, Hosts International. Hosts International are a British Council approved homestay provider.

Private Homes

Homestays are also available for more than four students staying at the same address.

Renting a flat

Some students coming to London choose to rent a flat themselves. This can give you more independence and freedom, however can also be hard to find if you are new to London! Therefore we suggest you read our fact sheet before you choose to look for a flat.
