Nottingham
Nottingham

Well known as home of the legendary Robin Hood, Nottingham is a vibrant city full of leisure attractions right in the middle of England between York, Birmingham and Cambridge. The historical site of Warwick Castle and the traditional English seaside resort of Skegness are also less than two hours away.
Nottingham has a large shopping centre and an attractive town centre and is 30 minutes from Nottingham East Midlands airport as well as 2 hours from London.
The Campus
Junior Accommodation
 |
The Nottingham programme takes place within a closed campus, which is ideally suited to young learners. The campus is surrounded by parkland and is on the edge of the city itself, giving easy access to it's numerous attractions.
Residence facilities include a bright, modern dining room, classrooms, a common room for student use, vending machines, laundry facilities and a large common room for film shows and other activities. Next to the residence are the swimming pool, tennis courts, the sports centre and playing fields. We also arrange discos and other fun events, all for junior students only.
Accommodation
Accommodation, Nottingham
 |
In Nottingham all students are accommodated in single and twin rooms. The accommodation is in a modern residence and all meals and lessons are in the same building. The accommodation is very safe, with St Giles staff staying on-site, as well as the residence's own night-time security.
NB: We will try to place students according to their preference, but room allocation is subject to availability.
Language Programme
Students study for 20 lessons per week in international classes of up to 15 students. Each lesson lasts for 50 minutes. On their first day students take a test to ensure they are placed in an appropriate level. There are six levels of study, from beginner to advanced. All students receive an end-of-course certificate.
Our Teachers
All our teachers are graduates with recognised TEFL certificates, and are extensively briefed on the particular needs of young learners. The language is brought to life through a vibrant and functional approach. In addition to formal language skills training, lessons include project work, videos, games and use of St Giles International's wide variety of modern English language teaching resources.
