International Tourist Guide Day |

Blue badge guides are famous for their local knowledge and high quality tours. Every year Blue Badge Tourist Guides introduce Britain to millions of visitors. This particular event is held every year. In London the Blue Badge Guides will be offering: Over 25 free guided tours. Two walking tours you can do on your own with a free map and Blue Badge guides waiting at key points to explain and entertain. |

Pancakes are made of flour, egg and milk and cooked in butter in a hot frying pan. Once the pancake is cooked on one side you must toss it in the air to turn and catch it in the pan again. This is a great skill! |

The canteen will be lovingly decorated to get you in the mood for this romantic day. In addition, there will also be lovely, red, romantic food. But don't worry; you don't have to come with your boyfriend or girlfriend, just your normal lunch friends... and don't forget to wear something red! |

London's Chinese Community celebrates the New Year with a series of events around the city centre. This spectacular annual event begins with a grand parade along Charing Cross Road from 11am. The official opening at Trafalgar Square is between 12:00 and 1pm. This is followed by a Dragon dance in the square and the very best in Chinese Arts and entertainment on the main stage until 5:30pm. Highlights include leading Chinese Opera with Tenor Yu Qiang Dai, Peking Opera, Yellow Earth theatre, Acrobats from Hunan, Chinese ballet from Beijing, Red Poppy percussion group and Martial Arts demonstration. Plus stalls, food, lion dancers, decorations and displays in Chinatown and Leicester Square. Firecrackers , and later more traditional fireworks at 2pm and 5pm. Go to Chinatown in the evening and you will find exhibitions and food stalls. There will also be lion dancers and the 65 Chinese restaurants in the area will offer food to the first customers. |

Saturday 5th Six Nations Rugby Tournament The Six Nations is a rugby Union Competition between England, Scotland, Wales, France and Italy. Each team plays one game against each of the other teams, over a series of weekends in February and March. France won in 2004. Many of the local pubs will be showing the games and so they'll be very busy! Wednesday 16th Bowling with St Giles Central Come bowling with your friends at a local bowling alley and meet students and teachers from Central St Giles at the same time. Lanes are booked for one hour between 7-8pm. Thursday 24th 5-a-side football with St Giles Central. Are you the next David Beckham? Or do you just enjoy running up and down a football pitch? Sign your name up and be part of the team when we play against Central St Giles. Then join the students from Central for a relaxing drink in a local pub afterwards. £4 to play
