Tower Bridge & Monument

Saturday 18th September

Meet at 10am at Highgate tube

This is your chance to see inside these amazing buildings and discover their fascinating history. At Tower Bridge you can visit the original Victorian engine rooms that open the bridge and from the high-level walkways you can look out across the modern city skyline and downriver to Canary Wharf – the new business centre of London. Then, to the The Monument, which commemorates the Great Fire of London of 1666. The tower has 311 steps (no lift!). Take in spectacular views of London from the top.

£4.50 with student ID

Our excursions to other countries are by luxury coach and ferry and the prices include all travel costs, accommodation, breakfast and guided tours. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL NECESSARY VISA REQUIREMENTS. Book by Wednesday at the latest.

The boat will travel from Swan Pier along the river to Greenwich and back again. There’ll be a bar and DJ playing the latest tunes.

Football - Every Thursday 
 
Everyone is welcome to join a couple of teachers for a kick about. The weather is now good enough to play outside so it is FREE to play. We’ll be playing at the recreation grounds behind Highgate Wood School but we’ll meet outside the college at 4.30pm and go together.
