Established in 1991 as the Canadian Business English Institute (CBEI), the school was acquired by St Giles International in late 2006. It has since undergone complete refurbishment and reorganisation, to offer courses and facilities in line with those of the other Colleges in the St Giles International group.
The school is relatively small, with around 100-150 students year-round, and offers a friendly and welcoming international environment in which to study. Our nationality mix is excellent, meaning that you will be sure to make friends with students from other countries, with whom you can practise your English outside of class, while enjoying our varied and exciting social programme.
Vancouver is one of the most exciting language travel destinations worldwide, and is increasingly popular with students from all around the world. This city quite literally has it all, with a cosmopolitan shopping scene, superb restaurants, exciting nightlife and beautiful beaches, as well as a wide range of sports and leisure facilities, afforded by Vancouver's idyllic seafront location, at the foot of the mountains. Our climate is mild, both in summer (25-28°c) and in winter
(3-10°c).
Accredited by the Canadian Association of Private Language Schools (CAPLS), and a member of Canadian Educational Centres Network, our new centre is located in the heart of the city, just moments from the shopping and entertainment hub of Robson Street, the waterfront and seabus to North Vancouver, and a 10-minute walk from Stanley Park and Vancouver's beautiful beaches.
