*Students who stay with their host family in London during the Christmas vacation 2008-2009 receive full board (all meals) during the week 21-27 December 2007, and pay an extra GBP 40 for that week.

Shared accommodation is best suited to two friends travelling together, but the office will do its best to find a roommate for students travelling alone. Students requesting a shared room must be prepared to pay the equivalent single rate if there is no one with whom to share for any part of their stay.

Due to our central London location, homestays are located 45-60 minutes from the college by public transport.

London is a big city, and is divided into 6 "Zones". Zone 1 is the centre, and Zones 2-6 are the suburbs. St Giles London Central is in Zone 1.

It is very unusual to find homestay accommodation in Zone 1, and therefore the majority of our homestays are in Zones 3-4. If you are studying at London Central, you can live in Zone 1 if you choose one of our student residence or hotel options.

Living in a student residence offers a fun, independent lifestyle, and a great place to make friends from all over the world. At St Giles London Central our residences have the added advantage of being located very close to the school.

JOHN DODGSON HOUSE SUMMER RESIDENCE - SUMMER ONLY From July to September we can offer additional single en-suite rooms at this new and well-equipped self-catering residence owned by University College London. Located about ten minutes’ walk from the school, John Dodgson House offers excellent student accommodation in a very convenient location.    Single, en-suite rooms (shower, toilet and washbasin)    Bed linen and hand towels provided (students should bring their own bath towels)    Kitchen facilities on each floor, shared by 5/10 guests    TV room, Library and coin-operated laundry
