Founded in 1847, the City College of New York (CCNY) is the oldest college of the City University of New York. Its 35-acre campus is located in the neighbourhood of Hamilton Heights, a historic, cultural part of northern Manhattan named after a Founding Father of the United States.
CCNY offers a safe, green and attractive campus, with a mix of old Gothic architecture and modern facilities. Students stay in apartment-style bedrooms in a comfortable residence.
Students can make the most of Manhattan with our lively and varied social programme. This includes 2 full-day and 4 half-day excursions to New York’s famous 5th Avenue for shopping, Times Square, the Museum of Natural History, the Empire State Building and more!
