Why become a homestay host with St Giles?

  • You can make new friends from across the world and learn about their different cultures
  • 24/7 support for both the hosts and the students is provided
  • You will receive fortnightly payment for hosting a student
  • We have students from over 100 countries, aging from 16 to 70
  • We have over 60 years of experience in providing homestays four our students
  • You will become part of our widespread and fantastic community of hosts

What do you need to become a homestay host?

  • At least one spare room that would offer students the space to both sleep and study
  • A home no further than 45-60 minutes by public transport to one of our centres (Brighton and Vancouver also offer Suburban which can be up to 75 minutes away)
  • An enthusiasm for sharing your culture and experiences with others, whilst simultaneously learning about theirs

Absolutely everything else is flexible!
