The royal town of Windsor and its castle, the favourite official residence of the Queen, stand majestically on the bank of the River Thames. Enjoy an impressive self-guided audio tour of the famous castle, home to the Royal Family (admission included in trip price). The rest of the day is free to explore Windsor’s many other attractions – its busy town centre and exclusive shopping, the nearby Eton College, where Princes William and Harry attended school, a river cruise on the Thames and lots more.
