The school is based in a traditional building and an update has been completed to bring the old and new together by keeping the historical architecture of the building, whilst also creating modern and well-equipped classrooms. This blend of the old and the new continues in the city - alongside beautiful historic buildings, you'll find a thoroughly modern city with a vibrant international feel, a thriving cultural scene and some great shopping and restaurants!
Thanks to the city's compact size, all accommodation options are within easy reach of the school. Trains to London only take an hour, and with such excellent transport links, Cambridge is an ideal base from which to explore more of the UK.

The staff is amazing, helpful, friendly and always making sure I was improving and happy with my classes. The activities were also really great, I could make good friends and have so much fun. I was constantly asked about my contentment with my classes and teachers which is great because they really care if you’re happy there. I highly recommend St Giles because I improved my English there but at the same time I had so much fun and I made good friends.Paloma, Brazil

Our Cambridge school welcomes students aged 14+ all year round. Please look at our Course Dates and Prices for more details. Independent, mature juniors can stay with a carefully selected host and choose from the wide range of courses available in Cambridge.
However, the school is primarily designed for those aged 18 and above, and we do not provide 24-hour supervision for those under 18. We therefore ask that parents and guardians of all students under 18 read and understand our Under-18s guidelines before enrolling their child at our school. Please download the Under 18 Student Guide here.
NB: From April 2019, we will welcome our first Junior course students. Students under 16 will be taught in separate classes to our adult students, unless the school considers their learning needs to be better served in an adult course. Students aged 16 or 17 may be taught with our adult or with our junior students.
Please visit our Under 18 pages for these guidelines and more details.
