Shopping and Socialising Costs

At each of our schools we like to offer a wide range of social events and activities for our students, so that when you’re not busy studying English in a classroom, you’re able to experience what life is really like in the city you are staying in.

Going out in the evenings with a group of fellow students whether it’s for a meal or an event we have organised, can really help you make new friends during your stay and gives you the perfect opportunity to practise and improve your English language skills out in the real world!

To help you budget for your trip to stay at one of our schools, we have put together a number of living cost guides. We have guides for each of our schools in the UK, USA and Canada.

Our budgeting guides will give you a good idea of how much money it will cost you to buy food in local shops, pay for transport and generally enjoy all the sights and sounds of your host city so that you really get the most out of your stay.

In terms of your studies, we’ve also included details on the cost of taking exams with us if you decide you’d like to sit a CAE, TOEFL or IELTS test in addition to taking your course.

All our living costs guides are available to download here in the Student Budgeting section of our site.
