Silicon Valley Experience

In class, you will focus on developing your language skills in context, learning technical vocabulary and making use of authentic listening and reading materials. Discussions will look at the broader impact of technology on society, and you’ll have the chance to practise giving presentations and pitches.

Outside of class, you will be able to use what you’ve learnt on excursions. Whether that’s a tour of Silicon Valley, or a visit to a local start-up, you’ll see how important technology is to San Francisco and the wider Bay Area. Perhaps you will even be inspired to start a new company yourself! We are also pleased to recommend a free ‘Introduction to Coding’ workshop to our students. It is run by an external provider, so attendance is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Students will not need any previous experience to join this course - we welcome those that are new to the industry. View our factsheet here
