Feedback from the first week at our St Giles Oxford Junior Summer Camp

Our Junior Summer Camp in Oxford has now been running for nearly two weeks. The camp is for international students aged between 14 and 18 and combines English classes with an exciting and varied activity programme. The activity programme allows young learners to make friends and practise their English in a fun and relaxed environment after their English lessons in the mornings.

Already our young learners have enjoyed many fun activities and excursions outside of the English classes, including exploring the beautiful city of Oxford, a drumming workshop, ice skating, an excursion to Windsor (including a visit to the shortest street in Britain and Eton College) and a visit to the Roman Baths.

Some students from one of the English classes sent us this feedback from their first week staying at St Giles Oxford:

After our first week in Oxford we have met a lot of friendly people, from all over the world, so we’ll be in touch with them for all our life! A perfect way to get to know new people was doing activities; there are diverse activities like funny games and interesting trips! The favourites were ice-skating and colour wars. The breakfast is also good – it’s a pleasure to wake up in the morning!

It’s wonderful that we have a lot of leisure time to go to Oxford or to spend this time in residence. We watch a lot of interesting films, which give us a lot of information and grammar is the best and very fun and interesting. We love grammar and Josh helps us to understand many sophisticated things.  From Josh’s Class,  Sat 2nd July
