British Council Funding for CELTA and Trinity TESOL Trainees!

Are you interested in a career in teaching English, but are currently unemployed and simply do not have enough money to pay for a TEFL course?  Well, here is some great news!  During 2012, the British Council will support 100 unemployed graduates (from the last three years) in taking a 4-week  Trinity Cert. TESOL or Cambridge CELTA course at a UK language school or other teacher training centre.

Successful applicants will receive a British Council training grant of 50% of the course fee (tuition only). They will also be given a place on an additional one-day teacher training course run by the British Council, which will provide guidance on starting a career as an English teacher overseas or in the UK.
