St Giles

St Giles Junior Centres

We opened our first junior summer centre in Southampton in 2005. Since then, we’ve helped thousands of students enjoy their summers, combining high quality language teaching with comfortable accommodation and a wide range of activities and excursions.

In 2017, our thirteenth summer, we’re bringing you three new centres and a relocation. We’ll still be offering courses in Canterbury, Cambridge, London, Nottingham, and Oxford in the UK, San Francisco and Orlando in the US, and Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, but we’ve also got some great new locations lined up. Read on to find out more…

Bournemouth

One of the UK’s oldest and best loved seaside resorts, Bournemouth is the perfect choice for a great value summer stay. The town has a safe and compact centre and over 10km of sandy beaches – with an average 7.7 daily hours of sunshine during the summer , students will have plenty of time to make the most of the traditional seaside attractions! When they’re not eating ice cream on the pier (over 750,000 ice creams are sold in the town each year!) students will enjoy trips around the rest of the country, including days out in Oxford and London.

Boston

If you’re looking for an all-American experience, Boston is the place for you! Situated on the East Coast, it’s one of the USA’s oldest cities, with a rich cultural, political and sporting history. Come and find out more about life at Harvard, the prestigious Ivy League college, learn about the famous Salem witch trials, or go whale watching off Cape Cod. You can even try a chocolate chip cookie in the place where they were first created!

New England’s Boston is a true student city with a college population of over 250,000; our students will live and study on the campus of Suffolk University, giving them a real taste of what American college life can be like.

Los Angeles

Why not spend your summer in LA, one of America’s most iconic cities? Home to Hollywood, Beverley Hills, Malibu Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Disneyland and more celebrities than we can name, students will never get bored here. Great beaches, excellent weather and a wide range of activities and excursions combine to make this the perfect summer camp destination.

Our centre is based at Northridge, on the campus of California State University. We think it’s the perfect location – more relaxed than the city centre, but within easy reach of numerous attractions, whilst the campus itself offers a great range of sports facilities alongside comfortable accommodation and modern classrooms.

New York

Do you think you know our New York Junior Centre? Think again! In 2017, we’re relocating, and coming back better than ever!

If you think New York is all skyscrapers, traffic and busy subways, our new centre might just surprise you. We’ve moved to the campus of the City College of New York which has beautiful buildings and spacious grounds. We’ve massively improved our accommodation, and are now offering apartment-style bedrooms just a few minutes’ walk away from classrooms.

Students will still be able to enjoy the same great teaching and a fantastic range of activities and excursions. With visits to the Empire State Building, Times Square, the Statue of Liberty and Central Park, students really can experience the very best of the Big Apple.
