St Giles Juniors Explorer Tour – New for 2018
All aboard the St Giles Express for the 2018 Explorer Tour…
When people think of visiting the UK, they usually think of London, with its famous landmarks and monuments such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament…
There is no denying that London is a fantastic city. However, the UK has so much more to offer! It is also home to beautiful countryside and picturesque towns, which may be less visited but are just as interesting as the nation’s capital.
Our St Giles Juniors team have created a new programme for 2018 that showcases the best of Northern England and Scotland – the St Giles Explorer Tour!
The Explorer Tour lasts for one week and the schedule is action-packed! You will be taken through some of the UK’s most stunning landscape. Passengers will visit the Lake District, Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, York and St Albans before returning to London. The planned activities include a cruise on Loch Lomond in Scotland, a ghost walk in Edinburgh, a visit to York Dungeons as well as a chocolate factory in York. The tour concludes with a visit to Harry Potter World in London!
Although there will be no English classes on the Explorer Tour, students will be given worksheets and there will be some activities and games along the way to practice English and learn new vocabulary and grammar.
