A Scarily Good Boat Trip

With pumpkins, ghosts and witches on the boat, it’s surprising that it kept afloat! London Central had a really successful Halloween Boat Party. The costumes were fantastic and our DJs (current students) got the party started with blood covered students dancing and having fun.

We set sail at 7.30pm leaving the Tower of London behind and took in stunning views of the city at night, including Greenwich, Canary Wharf and Tower Bridge. The atmosphere was great with drinks flowing and everybody onboard mixing and introducing each other. It was rather scary as so many people had dressed up and it was hard to recognise some, but that’s part of the fun of Halloween – being a scarier version of yourself! People sharing their blood (make-up) in the bathrooms, eating too many sweets and playing fun games like eating a doughnut from a string without using hands are all very much in keeping with the traditions of Halloween.

Thanks very much to everyone who came and made it such a great night, especially to our two talented DJs who kept the boat rockin’ with amazing tunes!
